Mobile Phones have changed our lives^^




Over the past 10 years mobile phones have changed the way we live, work and travel. It brought changes in personal freedom. Mobile phone gave us more power as individuals to do something we want and to be who we want to be.


Moreover,mobile phones connected people more than ever and became glue holding together social interactions and relationships.

There are over 3 billion mobile phones worldwide. These figures mean that almost 40% of the world’s population carries a mobile phone.


On average mobile phones are replaced every 18 months. In Japan and Korea mobile phones are replaced more frequently, almost every 6 months amongst certain consumers. It proves that new technology becomes adopted extremely quickly (normally within 2 replacement cycles).

Mobile phone manufacturers have developed mobile devices way beyond imagining even 5 years ago… Functions of our cell phones became much more than just voice communication, taking photos, and listening to music. Nowadays mobile network operators offer services with greater value to subscribers, such as portable email. Mobile phones are equipped with cameras that could be turned into portable bar code scanners, or with RFID chips that could turn mobile phones into mobile wallets and be able to carry electronic money.
The combination of such powerful devices and changes in the mobile network infrastructure (especially 3G network that carry large amounts of data at high speed) already started enormous changes in sector. Mobile devices became the place where numerous technologies meet and create applications that are useful for both consumers and businesses all over the world. Mobile phone is a device that allows users to communicate, connect, transact and innovate.

  •  Communicative device (mobile phone is still a device that helps to communicate with people).
  •  Connective device (mobile phone helps to connect to other sources of data anytime, anywhere).
  •  Transactional device (mobile phone is device that is ideal for payments and transactions to be made).
  •  Intelligent device (mobile phone integrates and mixes multiple applications).
